Haiti's History and Economy

 Hi guys, today we are gonna talk about Haiti! In this post I am going to talk about a culturally and historically rich nation, burdened by systemic gaps in healthcare, education, and economic development.I will explore Haiti’s  geography, history, economy , and  regional disparities , with a special focus on how limited public policy and external pressures continue to shape daily life for Haitian citizens. Haiti is a small country located in the Caribbean Sea, including a third of the western third of Hispaniola. Majority of Haiti's population are descended from enslaved Africans. Haiti was previously controlled by France, while under France's control Haiti produced 60 percent of the world's coffee supple and 40 percent of the world sugar supply. During the late 1700's the Haitian revolution began, and by 1804 Haiti declared its independence.
