US vs. Singapore's education system

Hi Guys, I am so excited to announce that I have just been approved for publishing my curried academic journal for my paper. It will take 2-3 month for my paper to be published so I wanted to upload it here so you guys can read it early!  Countries worldwide are seeking new ways to advance and strengthen their economies by investing in the education of their youth. The 20th and 21st centuries have been a vital time for innovation, growth, and change. Many of these developments rely on a nation's ability to cultivate and develop a skilled, adaptable, and efficient workforce. The future of these economies depends on the younger generation, making education systems an integral part of the economy. Investing in education is a way a nation can ensure economic stability and long-term growth for years to come, so countries should prioritize investing in education to allow the nation to progress and have the capacity to compete on an international scale. Countries that prioritize and devel...

Singapore's advanced education system

Hey Guys!  I wanted to announce that I am working with Professor Kara McCray from the University of South Carolina on a research project about comparing 2 different education systems in the United States and Singapore.  I have almost finished my research paper and I will make sure to keep you guys updated on my pubication journey, but today I wanted to talk about comparing 2 developed countries instead of talking about 3rd world countries all the time.  I have been researching a lot about the United States and Singapore and working on this paper, but I also wanted to allow you guys to get a shorter and easier to read version here!  Countries that prioritize and develop policies about money, structure, and education can ensure a future for innovative thinkers and problem solvers. This is especially evident in developed countries, such as Singapore and the United States, which have access to resources and the means to invest in their education infrastructure. Sin...

History of Vietnam

Vietnam is a nation located in Southeast southeast asia. From its centuries-long fight for independence to its rapid rise as one of Asia’s fastest-growing economies. This blog will dive deeper of  how Vietnam’s government works, how its people live, and where its future challenges lie. Stretching over 1,000 miles along the South China Sea, Vietnam’s geography is as diverse as its people. The country is commonly divided into three main regions: Northern Vietnam is the political heart of the nation. Hanoi is the capital. The Red River Delta provides fertile farmland and a deep sense of cultural tradition. But venture north toward the mountains of Hà Giang or Cao Bằng, and the modern energy of Hanoi fades into rural isolation. Here, roads are scarce, clinics are few, and schools struggle to retain teachers. Central Vietnam i home to the ancient city of Hue and the rapidly modernizing port of da nang This region’s coastline attracts tourism, yet it remains vulnerable to...

Re Election Campaign Fundraiser

Hi everyone! I am excited to announce that I will be entering this summer with Mayor Theresa Rich! Mayor Rich is the mayor of Farmington Hills, and she has given me the privilege of interning with her this summer to help market her reelection campaign. Yesterday, my family and I hosted an event aimed at supporting Mayor Rich in her reelection campaign. It was an amazing opportunity we received. During this event, Mayor Rich discussed her plans for the deer in the city of Farmington Hills. If you guys do not live in Farmington Hills, the deer are typically considered a big issue in the city. They tend to get in the way of many cars resulting in many accidents. Mayor Rich is currently working on a plan to help control the deer with the other mayors, and with the dead deer, she plans on giving them to many food shelters, which will provide many people with food. She also talked about upgrading the infrastructure in Farmington Hills to bring more depth and bring this city more alive. ...

Women Empowerment in Farmington Hills MI

Hi everyone today I received the privilege of meeting and talking to Mayor Theresa Rich, the Mayor of Farmington Hills, and attending an inspiring event where she talked about women empowerment and the future of Farmington Hills. I was so inspired by her speech, she discussed the importance of women helping other women and lifting each other. Not too long ago society was a place where women often felt the need to put each other down rather than celebrating each other's successes. Instead of women supporting each other, they envied each other. While the world is changing Mayor Rich emphasized how important it is that we bring other women up and create a space where all of their voices are heard.   Earlier I got the amazing opportunity to spend 20 minutes discussing what being mayor is like and what plans are in store for the city with Mayor Rich. The city of Farmington Hills is progressing and starting to bring in new infrastructure to glamorize and bring life back to the city....
